Hello all. When I play music in Windows Media Player, all of a sudden, it will go really loud and slow, as if they play speed has been slowed right down and everyone's voice is really deep. It doesn't just do it with the WMP though, any noise that comes out of the speakers is slowed down, MSN alerts, PC logging off, DVD's etc. Any ideas? Only way to resolved it each times is to switch PC off then on again but gets frustrating.

Thanks in advance.

The hamster inside your PC isn't running fast enough. I'd have thought the solution to the problem would be obvious Thumbs Up Laughing

get another stick of RAM, quite cheap now. Or it could be spyware and stuff clogging up memory? look for dodgy program names in task manager (ctrl, alt, delete) try something like 'spyware doctor' usually gets rid of loads even when I think the PC is running fine.
