The reserve light hasnt come on for 95 miles which means ive got about another 20 miles left in that tank. That means ill be getting 115 miles out of the tank AT LEAST!! Rolling Eyes

It's broke and will probably not start tonight when you leave work!

Ah have you removed the plug that fills the frame / swingarm with fuel as well? Laughing

Regards,
Kevo.

Yeah riding at a constant speed#, not having to go up and down the gears will mean you have a better consumption figure mate.

Yes. When I took Kev to pick up my car I refilled the storm at 92 miles with no orange light on. Mostly fairly clear motorway going along in 6th gear.

Constant speed is the best coditions for minimum fuel consumption, it's accleration/deceleration that causes greater inefficiency ie. town riding. I prolly had an average motorway speed of 120ish comin back from RnB and got 165miles before I hit reserve on that tank wheras usually it'll range from 145-155.

Hi

Managed 480km on a tank once on an early Aprilia AF1 (300 miles). Had nipped the engine up and was riding really carefully waiting for a new piston to come through.

Get around 200 miles to a tank on both the FZ750 and the GPZ500, and around 180 on the Bandit.

All the best

Keith

Is there a "mph -> km/h" converter on your clocks, Dru? 'Cos I think that you may pressed it accidently. Wink
