hi all, a friend of mine cannot get neutral when the engine is hot. Any ideas as to the problem? Bike is VFR400 NC30

sounds weird.. i'd suggest an oil change and see if that helps (i take tricky changes as an indication that the oil need a changeing)

clutch is dragging, check for correct oil grade, perhaps replace clutch plates and ensure correctly torqued

or!

is the cable adjusted properly?

Thanks all Smile I was thinking along the lines of the clutch needing replacing also Smile Will investigate further and let you know.
