you can get clip on things to mount other bars, or buy risers off the net and bolt them to your top yoke (thats what i did on my zxr)
if you remove the front indicators, your rear ones will flash really fast, but will still work

lol, to stop the indicators flasing fast, put on indicators on the front Very Happy
or buy a relay that is meant for led indicators easily available on ebay.

No drilling required. You get clamps that fit round the top of the fork legs.

If you remove the fairing you will need to find some way of covering up or moving the electrics, especially the ignition coils.

The flasher unit won't work unless it has 2x21w bulbs to power.

If you fit renthals, you will need to move the ignition switch because you can't get the key in, the bars are in the way.

I got mine from busters accessories. You need to measure the diameter of the forks.

They look a bit precarious when on but you only need something like 24mm of exposed fork leg to fit them. Happily the amount sticking up under the standard bars is slightly over this so no need to drop the forks through the yokes any.

Scruffy yes, but it'll be sold in about 15 minutes from now.

One thing I'd have done differently with mine is to have fitted some big rubber caps in the top of the stanchions. They are a water trap. Keep your eye out for something suitable.

Aye the stanchions are the chromed part of the forks. If yuo fit those clamps, you are left with a recess at the topmost part of the fork which accumulates water and rust. I filled mine with wax to stop the circlip corroding but a rubber bung would be better.

£320. Which is more than I was expecting.

No. £320 is what I sold the GPZ for. Laughing

I was meaning chain wax, not candle wax.

I wouldn't use candle wax, it'll set and you wont be able to get the circlip out if you want to service the forks.

Chain wax is just 'claggy' but stays liquid, you can rinse it off again with solvent.
