Ok so I've failed at the first hurdle. I'm trying to replace the brake lever on my CBR600F and I'm having a few problems, can anyone help because its a georgous day out there and I want to go play
Ok so I got the new brake lever from my local dealer, not quite what I expected, I have to remove a part from the old lever. This is what I got from the dealer.

I have to remove this part and add it to the new lever but I cant get it off.

They have supplied me with a new spring, good job as I think I've buggered the old one

Has anyone got any ideas on how I can get it off?

I won, phoned my local Honda dealer who talked me through it for 10 minutes on the phone! Star chaps and now I'm back out on the road ____________________ Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in one pretty and preserved piece, but to slide across the line broadside, thoroughly used up, worn out, leaking oil, shouting GERONIMO!!!
