Ever since I got my zx6r I noticed that at 7000rpm if you gently roll off the throttle it gets very jerky as if the injectors or sparks have cut out. Anywhere else in the revs its fine just at 7000-6000 rpm.

I fitted a PC3 but its still causing problems even with different maps.

Any ideas?

There was a lot about this in Bike magazine a little back.

To cut emissions the injectors shut off completely when you close the throttle, instead of letting in the usual for idle (closed throttle).

I think they fixed it by getting something from America, a little chip that fools the engine into thinking the throttle is never closed, so never stopping the injectors. Can't remember what it's called but it was really expensive. Confused
