I have a 1989 gpz500, and in 6th gear theres a rattling sound, only when the throttles open but it doesnt sound right at all.
Performance wise she's sound and nothing suffers, theres just this horrible sound, it a bit like a very fine rattle Sad

Any ideas???

try to get the back wheel off the ground. get someone to help hold the bike. stik into sixth gear and rev the claker out of it you may be able to see were the rattle is coming from. it makes it hard wen riding the bike.
