That does look very much like a rotary steering damper, which is weird, because honda usually avoids steering dampers altogether Confused.

Next year's going to be interesting, when the /real/ specs come out for all of them Smile

sexy things...not keen on the white/blue/red combo at all and the red/black...grey/black colours split in an odd place on the fairing. Confused Cool

I wouldn't say no to one though.

It looks just like a 600RR, which I like very much. Smile ...although it is a shame that it does look so similar...

It looks exactly like the CBR6 except the paintschemes are vile, no thanks. Older Blades still look the best.

Vile? Yeah, I suppose that the contempory black/graphite colour scheme is disgusting...unlike an orange, brown, and silver shellsuit. Razz Wink

They really should reconsider the headlights though, and use the one where the larger ends of the lights are sort of rounded. The design of the holes in the fairings also look a bit rushed, and I doubt that the final product will look like that, especially since they need to accomodate crash bungs without any drilling.

In terms of paintjob design, no. In terms of bike design, yes, IMO. As for "04 Blades" - they'll look exactly 03 Blades. Razz

Look at the swingarm on the R/W/B one and compare it to the other two...

Yeah it doesn't match, I noticed that. We'll see the final bike soon enough.

And it's essentially still a Blade Tin Razz They can call it an RCB, but it's still a CBR900 (CBR998 b4 u pick holes in me)

-Edit-

now i've looked at it more closely, you can see the swingarm if you look through the wheel on the other pics...looks very wierd. Also the black frame/silver swingarm looks dodgy.

Probably for years to come honda's flagship 1000cc sports bike will be known as a blade until they come up with a better sounding name.

Don't like it. Which is a shame, cos i really did want to. I think it looks like the 600 that spent too much time down at Fatty Arbuckles.

That is strange as you say, perhaps it's not the final shots of the road version.

Can't see any controls on that damper, perhaps it's just a blanking for you to remove those covers and add one.

Regards,
Kevo.
