Hi all,

Just stuck my finger in my ear ( as you do) but when i pulled it out i had partially dried blood on my finger Confused Ive had another sort of feel and stuff and its not bleeding, but im a bit concerned as to where this blood has come from. Am i correct in saying that bleeding from the ears can be quite bad? This is the first time ive ever had/noticed...could it just of been a spot and i should i just not worry about it? I don't know if it will bare any relevance but last week i took quite a bad knock by eye area. I think i had some mild concussion from it, but i don't think it was anything to be concerned about.

Safest thing is ask the Doc, but ask someone to look in your ears to see if there is anything like a big puss filled Zit or scratch that maybe causing the blood.

Its most likely to be nothing

As its dried blood, its probabally a blister or a spot in your ear canal thats burst.

If you get no more, no funny smell / discharge from it, no reduced hearing and no pain dont worry about it, simply one of them things

Any of these get ureself down to the GP who will refer u to audiologist (one of us fine people)

All the best

how long are your nails? sometimes if my nails are longish, i get cuts inside my ears, as when im asleep i seem to stick my fingers in my ears and have a good hoke around lol.

probably nothing dude, but if it really worries you, go away and ask a doc, or nurse in the clinic. Very Happy

If only there were more of you... Rolling Eyes Laughing

Fortunately the bump wasn't an off. I managed to do it when i was sailing. Dont know if you've ever sailed? anyway there's a part of the boat known as a 'boom'.

Wikipedia ( as much as i hate to use it) says:
Quote:
In sailing, a boom is a spar (pole), along the foot (bottom) of a fore and aft rigged sail.
Basically its a big aluminium pole.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/10/Mast_Boom.png

Whilst i was sailing/not paying much attention Embarassed the wind swung it from one side of the boat to the other, hitting me full force in the side of the face, throwing me about four foot out of the boat...Was bloody fecking painful!!

Yes im an idiot Very Happy
