Found a bike whilst at work today in the Sheldon Birmingham area. It was set on fire in a wooded are but the damage is very minimal. It was obviously loved before it was stolen because all the chrome was imaculately polished. I did write the registration down but i've lost the bit of paper. The police have been informed but we had to leave it on the roadside and get back on the run. It had the keys still in the ignition. Anyone had one nicked recently?

I would get in touch with the Vintage Motorcycle Club (www.vmcc.net), the owner might be registered with them.

Just been on the phone to the local TOC guy and I will phone the VMCC rep soon.

Fastmore oval - Tile Cross! In the wooded area there. I just rang the fire station to find out.

Like I say, I left it on the side of the road for the police to collect so if it's not there it's either with them or been nicked again. Unfortunately I could not persuade the gaffa to stay and guard it.

couldn't you have removed the keys and handed them to the police?
