Folks,
just got a Honda NSR 125 R '03 plate.
I'll be using it for commuting as well as pleasure, so it would be useful to have some storage as well.
I've searched previous threads, but theres not much. Just windering if anyone had put sports panniers / tankbag on their NSR? I'm leaning towards the panniers, but they're bloody expensive.
Cheers.

I think they would be very out of place. Personally I use a backpack to carry anything that wont fit under the seat. Its VERY rare I need to carry anything that is too big to put in a bag.

Good choice with the NSR by the way Wink

I assume you are talking about soft luggage? Or hard panniers such as

anyway, I'm going to have to get some soft luggage, tank bag, tail pack + panniers cause I'm going on holiday with my bike and I'm going to need to put clothes somewhere. I imagine they'll look a bit big for the bike, never know though, might not look too out of place.

Dunno specifically about the NSR, but I've recently bought a "Pro Sports" tank bag from Hein Gericke, and found it to be ideal for commuting and for day trips etc Thumbs Up

Ebay can often land you with good deals such as 40 quid oxford panniers or 29 quid tankbags. Fortunately for me, i got my gear free thrown with my bike. Oxfords first time tankbag is renown for being good. Having said that, get a hein gericke catalogue as they'll have ll the latest gear and accessories. Tankbags are rate practical in my opinion though. Leaves your back end free to do what you like!
