I enjoy riding with my visor up and oakleys on but those bastard flys really hurt your face even under 50 .
I've just had a night ride ruined with one in the eyeball at 40 spent an hour trying to get it out ! (can't wear me sunnies at night)

They should not be aloud on our roads the shitty bastards Evil or Very Mad

I think peer pressure is one the the biggest enemies of bikers. The need to be seen by other bikers as a balls out super rider. The nearest I have come to killing myself was on a rideout with some aquaintences I'd never ridden with before. I had two serious near misses due to riding outside my comfort zone.

If you are riding in a group, remember the riders at the back will have to ride 10-20mph faster than those at the front most of the time.
