DISCONECTED BATTERY NOW HAVE ALARM PROBLEMS!!! HELP

Hi i have a kawasaki zx900 with a datatool alarm fitted the battery died so took it off and charged it now ive put it back on and the alarm keeps going off and i cant switch it off...is there away of reseting it? once i disconected the batterry the alarm was still going off but not very loud. could anyone help?

You checked that you haven't blown the alarm fuse?

When Luke's popped it, the alarm kept going off all the time to tell us.

where abouts is the alarm fuse as i no the alarm is located under the tank? thanks

if you read the manual it tells you to remove the inline fuse on your alarm BEFORE removing the battery, it's a very small fuse normally next to your battery.

otherwise you stand a chance of Spiking your alarm and fucking it up


put the battery back on, connect it all up. then remove your fuse etc.

Hi ok i have tryed that as soon as i put the fuse back in the alarm goes off and i cant turn it off with the fob.

could this mean my fob battery is dead but the little red light comes on when i press it?

Hi thanks for giving me that link i have now sorted it i got the bike with the alarm fitted and never hand a booklet with it.

think i was lucky as been looking at other peoples problem and thought it might of cost me alot to fix.
