hi ,ive just bin informed that i cud if i wanted to put a cbr6 back sprocket on to my 600 bandit as its ment to improve take off
is this correct

You'll need to buy a powerband for it to be compatible, preferably the red ones, or if none of those are available blue powerbands will suffice.

Alternatively... you could get a Bandit rear sprocket with more teeth.

Or even easier, you could get a Bandit front sprocket with less teeth!

Or you could get a CBR600 front sprocket, rear sprocket, engine, frame, swinging arm, suspension, wheels, tyres, bodywork, electrics, brakes and tank! Mr. Green

don't listen to him, he's bullshitting you, as is truslack.
those aren't bike powerbands, and bike powerbands certainly DO NOT come in different colours.

your local bike shop should be able to sort you out with some nice new powerbands quickly. standard part, dead easy to fit.
if your having problems accelarating it is generally because your original powerbands aren't working properly anymore.

Why go to a shop for a silly job like fitting a powerband? They will charge a flat hour for the job at £20.00 minimum. Get a new one off Ebay (£ 2.00) and fit it yourself. It aint rocket science FFS.

yeah but no but yeah right the band I had on my bike was pink but like Shelly had Gavin but he had a purple one but he's got a duffel coat so hes gay.

Be careful.....
I got a Powerband off some cnut on Ebay.
It fitted the bike perfectly
But It failed the MOT test a month later as the New Powerband was not EU II compliant.

F%kin wasted 35 quid on that. Evil or Very Mad

yea but if you mess it up then you cause more problems and will have to take it to a garage anyway and it'll cost more!

his best bet is to just pay his bike shop about the £25 to cover the cost of the part and fitting.
