If you like DJ Tiesto, or just easy going dance music with female vocals.

Download this

https://www.mediafire.com/?50ziwmz1oa1

extracts to .wma format.

its just short of a 100MB, but it downloads fast

Feedback appreciated

Just Recently got a part time DJ job so im just starting out. instead of just doing it in the house.

Excuse the cheesy name, but it was named after a girl (her name being an acronym of it)

Isnt the finished mastered product, because i still need to buy a new soundcard, My current one is causing me major problems and keeps crashing my computer, pain in the arse when your around 40mins in and the PC crashes and you lose everything! meaning you have to start from the beginning. So there were a couple mistakes in it that i chose to put up with.

Thanks

Edit

Thought it Might be clever to List updates in the 1st post

Forgive my ignorance but would this file be compatible on an ipod?

I've used Itunes only once to load my ipod and never since, so I'm sick of everthing on there and while I'm at work I might as well put this on there for my commute home.

Thanks, but GGGRRRRRRR. Administrator access needed to install.

Right, so I thought fuck it. I still want something new to listen to on the journey home.
I had installed iTunes on my Mac at work when I first bought the ipod. Haven't used it since and conceded that it would overwrite everything I had put on at home which I'll live with for today.

Thought I'd just go to iTunes and download a new album, downloaded the new Tiesto album (mentioned above) as it would happen. That will do I thought.
It downloads fine and appears in Library along with anothe few I'd taken from a CD.
Click file and update my Ipod. It downloads the other songs but not the album I'd just paid £7 for!!

''some of the songs in Library were not copied to the ipod because you are not authorised to play them on this computer"

What the fuck!?!? you'll sell me a song that is not allowed to be played!?!?

Mutherfuckers.

Had as similar problem with iTunes as I've used it on my desktop initially and then copied some of my music onto my laptop - thankfully I've only purchased a couple of singles and none of them worked on my laptop - I believe it's something to do with registration of one computer (or something more technical!).

With regard to FIRE NSR's link, I'm pretty sure that iTunes will convert .wma format automatically to .aac if you import the song into your Playlist using iTunes - iTunes actully asks you if you want it to perform that particular action, all you need to do is confirm that you do and it'll convert it for you Thumbs Up

Save NSR's file to your desktop.
Open up iTunes
Click 'File', 'Import' and click on the downloaded file on your desktop
iTunes should then ask you if you would like to convert the .wma to .aac
Click 'Allow'
Sorted Thumbs Up

Worked for me Buddy - have you opened it using winRaR?

Doesn't seem to work when you double click it, but as Steve says, if you File > Import it, it works.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Really appreciated, and really flattered to be quite honest.

I honestly feel quite bad giving everyone the un-mastered draft version. But as i said, with the soundcard being very temperamental, its difficult to record consecutively successful.

Feel you are all too good for just the 'half effort attempt' Thumbs Up
Specially with it going on peoples iPods.

Thanks for the support, i will try too keep this thread updated with new stuff.

(And im really sorry about the .WMA format, but MP3 records awfully, and the only other format is .WAV, which means the file easily is over a 1GB, Also the Host im using only allows a maximum of a 100Mb files, Unless Anyone can direct me to a better host? Or if your OK with the .WMA files, as they are smaller files to download.)

Just listened to the first mix....very good!! I see what you mean by DJ Tiesto...very Italo style and I liked the way it started almost ambient and became almost techno!! Technically the mixes were overall good and got better towaards the end, the modulation on the tracks was more or less spot on too! I didn't know there was a market for this type of music in the UK...it's not my cup of tea but I did like it!

Listen back to it..and wind it to 50mins in.. That was the major screw up and the reason why i didn't have this on CD and Passed around. And some of the mixes could of been perfected, but Maybe im just being self conscious though because i made the set. thats normal amongst DJ's right?

Ive noticed that as well, there isn't a market for this sort of music in the UK, but people do like it.
But I would probably have to use harder beats to get into the Club scene.

Read Your profile headlamp, looks like your on there too, how long have you been doing it?

An By the way Steve H
Im half way through the the 2nd set, been working on it all day
Expect it soon! Thumbs Up

*May Update*

Made this one a little bit harder Guys

Some of you that may of liked the 1st one, might not be as keen this time round, But I'm sorry this is they we have to go to get on the club scene.

Again, not exactly spot on, half a second here or there, and a point where my brother phoned me, and the ringing was a bit off putting during a mix.

Bit shorter, 9 songs this time (53mins)
Excuse the quality, still working on getting that new sound card.

And sorry about the delay, bike has been giving me troubles, been trying to sort that out as well.

Sorted out the 1st Remix, as Steve H pointed out it was a little 'off'
And the 3rd song is for you mate, appreciate the support, squeezed some DnB in there for you. Thumbs Up
