i have the Aprilia SR50, some of you may have seen the pic, i unfortunately decided when i got it that it couldn't be wheelied, but the other day after giving my mate a go, when he stopped, he clamped the back brake and lifted the front off the floor about 2 feet with ease

the front obviously wasnt as heavy as i thought, i was messing about today, trying to wheelie, and i got the front wheel of the ground, which was nice, but i couldnt sustain it very long or get it very high at all, i saw some guy wheelie a Runner on the chelsea bridge video, and TJ said he saw loads of scoots wheelieing last week

my method: lean a little back, but staying in the primary seat, pootle along slowly, open the throttle and try and judge the pick up, then yank the bars back

some went higher than others

could someone maybe give me some tips, if they have done one on a scoot of how to keep it goin or get it high or what?

cos im gettin more confident on it now, and it would be nice to be able to do something flashy

many thanks, kind regards, MN your a nob :D

Most of the people I've seen doing reasonable wheelies on 50cc scooters have done it by sitting right at the back and often leaving their legs hanging off the back.

TIME - thats all it's down to, practice everyday for weeks and you will master it. On a ped its all down to balance, get this right and you'll be well on your way.
I ride a shitty CG125. I can get the wheel up and keep it up for as long as I want, this is cause i've learnt how to find the right balance point!
Have Fun!!!!!!!!
