I'd love to have a go on one of those, just out of curiosity... but I'm stuck on a 12 hour day shift today... in Cardiff... so it's inlikely I'd be able to attend Wink Rolling Eyes

Well I went and had a very enjoyable day. The people from Thunder Road are extremely nice. They had one of all the new range there and I tried them all. Riding on a 250 back wheel is extremely weird, handling was very scary on tight corners at first. They looked stunning though and had the nice torquey engines you'd expect. What did disapoint though was the fact that they all had exactly the same engine so you really only have to choose the look your after and test ride just one of them. Wouldn't shell out £13000 for one.

There was a KTM rider there that had never ridden a cruiser before, he looked horrified when he got back. He said he was swinging legs all over the place trying to find the pegs Laughing

My mate Gill runs Thunder Rd and has a longer beard than me.
Top bloke, he keeps on trying to get me onto a Victory but they are not my style (and my legs are very short).
