yea, i have them on my cbr and take pillions no problem. its a bit awkward when they are getting on, but the panniers dont effect them at all when they are seated. Thumbs Up this is true even for girl pillions with short legs Thumbs Up

Yup, I've got the Oxford Lifetime Humpback panniers for my SV

Girlfriend says it's a bit tricky getting on, but once she's sat down they actually help her brace in corners.
