Can't help but notice that there seems to be an anti-sport feeling on here, don't know whether it's a biker thing, or an internet user thing...

I've noticed it with people that I've met and I've ended up discussing bikes with though, sport never becomes a topic of conversation; it's like an interest in biking (especially bike racing as a sport) seems to preclude an interest in ball sports (footy, rugby, etc..).

So, thought I'd put it to the poll...

I enjoy watching and participating in a variety of sports, however by this I do mean ‘a variety of sports’ not “I scream at the TV when the football team I like looses, then explain to everyone why my strategies would be so much better than the bloke that gets paid lots of money to know about such things” Smile.

I like other sports. I love rugby and like tennis and snooker. Can't stand football though.

Watch F1 and some footie on tv aswell as all the bike racing.

I enjoy playing a lot of sports.. but don't watch many.

My main sport is racing (pedal) mountain bikes and road racing.
I also play quite a bit of football. Have been known to do a few triathlons and running races too etc. Usual social games of squash but not very good at it!

[edit]Al.. agree five a side is awesome, and you're probably better than you think Smile
and what mtb have you got? I've got a Marin Mount Vision and love it to bits

I hate armchair managers. Especially loud ones.

Also hate armchair supporters that say "My team"; oh I'm sorry, I didn't know you played for a premiership team?

I with feef, there are many other sports that don't have balls. I like cycling - both participating and spectating... Although I guess some people have a problem with it being called a sport...

Also love skiing and snowboarding when I can afford it.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

What's the point in watching a bunch of pansies running around in their tight shorts, getting sweaty? I could understand women being interested, but certainly doesn't float my boat.

One false move in ball sports and they roll around on the floor like a little kid and cry. Once false move in bike racing and they bloody know about it! (No false moves in F1, 'cos they hardly ever overtake each other)

Ah, now that brings back fond memories sitting on the Beach in St Kilda, Melbourne on a gorgeous February afternoon watching a womens volleyball tournament, with a beer in hand. Days as good as that are few and far between!

I follow Harrogate Town (Conference north team) home and away every saturday. I also coach kids footy on a saturday morning. Football is OK - its a winter sport so just as it finishes the biking season really kicks off Smile

Cant be doing with Premiership teams anymore though. Bunch of overpaid prima donna's.

I watch bike racing thats viewable on freeview, ie motoGP and BSB, and will also watch F1 (Hamilton is making it worth watching again).

Also like to watch the Tour De France. I used to be really into cycling and the team tactics are fascinating.
