I went against all financial sense (as always) and ordered myself a brand spanking new graphite grey Triumph Daytona 675 Very Happy

Got £675 worth of accressories chucked in too as is the current deal, so gone for the awesome sounding silencer, alarm, seat cowl, led rear light and a tank pad.

Should be collecting it on the 8th, gonna be a long couple of weeks waiting.

It's gonna be my toy, my CBR will remain my daily work horse.

Only slight quible with the 675 is the astonishinly rock hard seat, however I have seen they do a gel seat which should cushion my ass a bit so will consider getting that. Lately our rides have been fair distances, but will see how I get on.

11 days to go...

the firm seat may actually be better than a softer one that doesnt soak up the harsher bumps

Maybe, if you was in a race however if you do stop every 50-100 miles then you are giving yourself a schedule to re-hydrate yourself, eat and you get to know the locals more. It also makes a much more relaxed ride and you will not feel as tired.

But you could fit 700 miles in a day.
