Ok, Luke and G are racing at Cadwell this weekend, well, I say 'are' Luke is now a 'was going to be'...

He went out in an earlier session at the trackday today and had a bit of an 'off' at the gooseneck. Seems his head appears to have taken the bulk ofthe impact and he won't be riding anything more than a rocking horse for the remainder ofthe weekend as he has concussion.

According to my sources (Bendy) he's aksing 'Am I racing this weekend?' on a fairly regular basis. Cassie has now taken him to Louth hospital for a check up, but apart from mashing his (some will say, already soft) head, he's ok.

Don't have any times or anything for G as yet, but may do later.

Update: Cassie took Luke to Louth hospital and they decided that he needed to stay in for observation overnight! Shocked
So, he's had a nice trip from Louth to Lincoln in an ambulance and Cassie is staying with him overnight either in the hospital or in a hotel fo the night.

We'll know more tomorrow, but as far as we know, he's ok, they just want to make sure he's not mental or anything. Confused Laughing

Posting live from the 'park...

Luke's fine, he's on his way home at the moment (might even be there by now). He's actually more coherent than normal.

G's grumbling and hating everything, as usual. Superpole race in a bit.

Sun's out but it's still windy as hell. If anyone's coming to visit tomorrow, we're at the bottom right hand corner of the paddock, just up from the loos (opposite side to where we usually are).

Hullo Smile

First off, bendy slap G up side the head and shove a rocket up his arse! Razz

I'm back home now still a bit heady and woozey but more normal, well as normal as I can get.

Yesterday is a bit skittish, i remember somethings and there a big blank gaps, cant remember the crash or the session or the medic center at all. Apparently I wasn't knocked out cold, but for pretty much the whole of yesterday I had a 5 minute memory, asking the same questions over and over again, getting a bit mad a bit sad but generally confused. Seems I came off at the goose neck, the left hander bit down the hill, I drifted wide and went into the dirt, obviously bashed me noggin a bit and took a bit of a tumble. The bikes pretty much ok, mainly superficial damage, foot peg/clip on and faring will need some tarting up.

Got taken to louth who checked me over and said "yes he's concused" when I was transfered to Lincoln for a precautionary mri/ct i forget what its called scan. Seems Lincoln hospital is the BCF'ers choice when it comes to injuries Very Happy. All the nurses and doctors were ncie (from what I remember) and cassy was a great aid putting up with answering the same questions every 5 minutes Very Happy. Obviously not allowed to race this weekend, though im not surprised as im a bit drowsey and my concentration/vision isnt up to 100%.

Thanks to everyone who helped/put up with me, and good luck to G and the rest of the racers, hope they have a safe ride.

Oh and got a nice oozey wound on my knee, which is a lot more to show than when I had my last off Very Happy. Should be out for brands if doctors say its ok Thumbs Up

Luke

Yeah but at least you had the sense to stay on, to finish 1st you have to first finish, or start the race in my case Rolling Eyes

Go to the gym, lose some weight and turn the throttle more Wink
