PostPosted: 11:56 - 28 Apr 2007    Post subject: Work bonus cheated?. Reply with quote

Yet another problem with work again, I was promised a £1000ish bonus due to the
fact I've been denied holidays for a year being single and male with no children everybody else
has priority over me, which I posted on earlier and had reached an amicable agreement on
around March.

I felt suspicious the moment my pay slip was not issued this month , so I checked at the
bank I've not been paid this bonus , I've been paid my very poor salary increased slightly
due to the personal allowance increase and tax banding increases.

I have emails and written transcripts which promise me this bonus (it was going to pay for my
CBR) , and I've not done anything out the ordinary been disciplined or anything , and have not
received it, and I'm not confident that they will honour it. (I work for a bunch of scum who are
lower than the belly of snakes).

What can I do about this other than leave and let them win and cheat me out of a big chunk of
money ?.

Should I start some sort of legal action?

I'm somewhat annoyed to put it lightly, and I budgetted this money to pay for the CBR , I just
hope I don't have to sell it to make up the difference Sad

And my tearing up some local roads angry riding has soothed these angry thoughts for now,
I should really stop angry riding , although it tots up phenomenal lap times it is exceptionally
dangerous and one day will kill me.

I'm mildy tired with this work place already , they keep reneging on their promises and things that
are written into contracts by changing contracts and telling people to sign or be fired.

Added to that the sexual harrassment disciplinary which fell apart about 12 months ago I was completely
exhonerated of any wrong doing (CCTV , activity on my PC being monitored exhonerated me completely,
yet mud sticks and my bosses are women. and the fat bitch who accused me has been promoted.Should
I have sued after being found innocent? , I really did suffer plenty of sleepness nights around then
since that fat bitch could turn on the tears like a tap.

What should I do ? .(I will be leaving around June/August anyway)

re my other revenge post I'm kind of tired of being cheated over and over again.

Your thoughts appreciated

Thanks

id assume it was an oversight, and remind them that they have forgotten to put it on

make it clear that you expect to get it and wont accept not getting it

remind them of the reasons why

get something in writing signed by someone that says you will definitely get it next month

I would suggest talking to a solicitor about the possibility of a constructive dismissal case.

Denied holiday time.

Offered a bonus in lieu which has not been paid.

accused of sexual discrimination, exonerated and the accuser promoted, no apology forth coming.

I would start keeping a log of events as well.

Remember if this was happening to a colleague you would object its just harder to be objective when its yourself.

Sue the bint or at least let them know your not happy if you feel your reputation has been damaged, if you got exhonerated of any blame shows how untrustworthy she is (why the hell they would promote someone like that is beyond me). like you said mud does stick, its the way people are. your female bosses wouldnt like it if rumours were spread around saying they were a slag or had done this or that (hey theyre just rumours after all...) You can bet if the tables where turned they'd be trying to screw you over in a flash.

as for the CBR i'll give you a fiver for it if your stuck for cash Wink

speak to ACCAS 0845 7474747 they are really good on employment law and these sort of situations, and will be able to advise you of your best course of action.

I would let them know on Monday, and inform them you expect it that week, not next paytime, screw their systems up or something, how vital is your position for the company? loosen the fat bitches chair one night/day.. and hand your notice in for if/when they especially need you.

I would suggest that you get a soliciter and get them to write to your employer regarding your pay and other issues. Most employers tend to back down pretty quickly when challanged by lawyers. A court case is not cheap or productive for a company. One of my colleagues had a grievience against my employer, and went to a soliciter. All the soliciter did was write a letter to my employers, and they backed down in the blink of an eyelid. They even bent over backwards to please her for the last one year. If you try to talk to them yourself, you might weaken your case without knowing it.
