Any builders on here? need a bit of advice

Basically our garden was 3 different levels and each level was like a patio so weve knocked it all down and basically the guy who lived here before , He had built a breezeblock square like 6ft high filled it with broken bricks , toilets , tiles , carpet , pipes , soil , sand , glass , push bikes . basically its full of shit .

Anyway we have knocked it all down and now comes the fun part of shoveling it all but everytime i put my shovel in im constantly hitting bits of all this crap so its taking forever . Is there anyway around this ? or do me and my shovel just have to keep getting fucked off?

Hire a digger or something. Other then that I dont know mate. Maybe you should go at it with a pick axe and then lever the crap out with that?

You can hire diggers that will fit through a doorway if access is tight.

digging 'made up' ground is a pain in the arse. if its really big, get a mini digger, otherwise you've just gotta pump your guns and dig. you could hire a breaker and a spade bit, which will help you loosen it up before you shovel it out.
