Well basically after a lot of building work and a large amount of chinchilla fur been eaten by my pc its managed to kill the graphics card that was in my pc.

So Im now looking for a replacement, nothing stupid expensive as its not a new pc, just want a few informed suggestions.

The card which died was a GForce 4 Ti4600 AGP. The mother board is a ABIT KD7, so can take up to an 8x AGP.

So what do people suggest?

Many thanks.

If you can get hold of one, Radeon 9800 pro. Top card even now, and can be had for as little as £35.

Another vote for a 6600 (GT would be good).

9800 Would be a good choice too.

I'd go for a Nvidia over an Ati, depending on what radeon it is.

hahahahaha

i didnt even read his post, i just noticed the super cheap awsome card and thought everyone should own one.

to be honest though unless youve got a 20 pound motherboard you will tend to have a PCI slot lying around.
