another wheelie competition for next year to follow on from this years succesful event, new record 172 mph by terry calcot, you have to wheelie for 1km without touching down, i ran 108 mph on a bandit this year with 2 near misses at over 130mph, if your interested let me know and i'll keep you updated with dates etc

But as i cant wheelie, and im on a 125 i think ill pass, but would be kool to come see.

sept 15th-16th at elvington is the 2007 dates, just the wheelies as far as i know but i;ll ask about the stunting

I read that Ghost Rider done a 215.7mph powerwheelie and elvington this year :S
Surely thats a record?

seems to me calcott done the kilometre fastest.
but the top speeds are as shown.

Hmm, considering that people with turbo busas struggle to hit 215mph tucking in behind a fairing, with no mirrors, and people that weigh very very little.

I find it hard to belive someone did it on one wheel, on a naked busa. The wind resistance must have been shocking!

turbo bikes are in a differant class and they only have to hold the front wheel up for 80mtrs, 15/16 sept are the confirmed dates for this year

Considering my bike does 70mph tops and i can wheelie at about 35mph can i play lol.

Its simply the fact the wheel came off the floor when he did his best run...which wasn't particulally good by any account.

You have to have the wheel up for a certain distance for it to qualify.
