hi

i just got 1990 (i think) nsr 125 with the alcast frame. The engine is nailed (well more work than i want to do on it, new barrels, pistons etc). I looked on ebay and i can get a complete working engine for under 200 quid. Does anyone know if theres a difference with the alcast frame or can i get any NSR 125 engine and swap it straight onto my bike?

cheers

jake

no problem , engines are the same since 1989 (NSR125RK) until end of production (NSR125R1) . if you have a choice get the newest except french, swiss or german import . why ? they will go straight but the barrels are different (power band is very good under 7500 but they wont go over 10500 , and spares will be more difficult to buy)
