I was taken out for lunch today by my boss. she recommended I try some "toast" and I really enjoyed it. It was a bit like bread but sort of crisp and hot and the boss says it is ok to eat it with your hands.
I have tried looking for it in ASDA and Tesco but they do not sell it and Gooogling it just drew a blank.
Is there a recipe or can you only get it in a restaurant?

i believe the common way to make toast and buy bread and a toaster there are 3 main types of toasters a green one for normal bread, a blue one for rough bread and a pink one for fine bread. The pink one has twice the power of the others and will increase the power output by some 10 wattage. They also come with the special racing fuses but these are illegal for private use and can only be used in special toaster racing events

I get so horny when people talk technical.
What would happen if I just put some bread out on a wall? I could sit my cat next to it so the birds and rats leave it alone and bring it in if it looks like rain.

You think it's ok, you think you can pace yourself. "Just a couple of slices" you tell yourself. Then you go and buy a 4 slice toaster. "It's so that I can make toast for other people at the same time" you tell yourself. Then you feel sorry for those two empty slots when you are making it just for you. So you start popping in an extra couple of slices "so that the electricity isn't wasted".

It's a slippery slope. Next thing you know, you're doing crumpets and muffins. I'm just glad I realised what was happening before I tried pop tarts.

My name is Doug, and I'm a toast addict.

I hope you are kidding.
What is worse is that they come in packs of two, so that you have to eat both unless you want to risk one of them being exposed to oxygen overnight...

I had to burn them.
The smell was incredible...

Pop tarts are not toast, could you please mark any PT or muffin related postings as being off topic please?
It is things like this that make the internet so awful for old people and other disabled groups.
