Serious advice needed

I (Hopefully) am going to do the Europe on bike thing this year or next, .. the thing is that i am on a fairly high doseage of (Prescribed) daily Morphine (160ml twice a day, plus endone or pethadine for breakthrough pain...) I think I may have serious probs in some countries if I travel with it though, does ANYONE know what border/customs are like in "wherever" .. and would a Dr's letter from my Doc here allow Doctors to administer/prescribe over there ????
I guess what i really need is info on whom to contact in what Govt dept's ...
ANYONE ???

Going to have to ask, why are you on the morphine? Been on and off opiates including oral morphine myself for the past few years and to be honest if the pain levels are even remotely similar (ie requiring prescription morphine, not something that's handed out like happy pills) then I really can't see how you'll be able to ride any sort of long distance.

Which bits of Europe?

If you're travelling within the Schengen countries, you won't have any border stops to worry about. The only customs stop would be at exit/entry with the UK and a letter from your GP/specialist should suffice.
