On a more serious note, how would you suggest I deal with the very unpleasant mob mentality that seems to be the norm of late ?

Stopping trying to instigate it may be a good start. Getting the real facts about things before spouting rubbish might be another idea.

Id suggest lying low for a bit until they find another target and resisting the temptation to go to the targets defence thereby making yourself the target again.

Theres not much doubt i have experience on this subject.

threads on the lines of hi im nice really be my friend, arent really gonna cut it

just leaves you open for a bit of general ridicule

as does posting a pic of urself if you are a bit unusual looking, but then you'd know about that one from a different angle Smile

(personally I didnt think you were too out of line by bcf standards)

the main thing to remember is that most people dont remember individual members on bcf so its only the ones who are on here all the time (and therefore arent worth worring about too much) that even know who you are

id say 30 ppl tops know about the recent little event, so lie low and 20 of those will forget all about it

the caption competitin reminded me of a joke. what were tarzans last words ? who greased the vine ?
