Offsite linking to avatars has been disabled, so some of you may find your avatar has vanished and you're going to need to upload a new one. This only applied if you were hosting your avatar on your own webspace.

It was only a matter of time before the troll figured out he could register with an avatar wider than the English channel, which would have been a pain in the arse.

The new max dimensions are 100 pixels wide by 80 pixels high, because Zimma was complaining that his kneedown doesn't look big enough at 80x80. Max file size is 24kb and I'd prefer you not to use animated gifs.

In the profile section it says
width no greater than 80 pixels
height no greater than 100 pixels.

Which is right?
And do you just not like animated gifs, or does it really cause a problem? Wink

Hi

I tried both, and neither worked at the time. It works now, so either Korn sorted it out (if so, thanks) or there is a delay
