Right, i'm planning on doing a practical joke on my friend while he is work. I'm planning on covering his motorbike with 600ft of cling film. I've been told by one guy that some clingfilms can leave little white marks on the paintwork and never come off, is this true? It's not like the clingfilm is going to be left on overnight, 20minutes max. The clingfilm i'm gonna use is just the kind they use in restaurant kitchens.

Used to borrow rolls of industrial stuff from work. The kind you'd wrap pallets in before putting them in the back of artics.

No issues with the clingfilm when we were wrapping cars, but be careful not to get the roll covered in grit if you pass it under the belly of the bike.

Pallet wrap will be allot better than cling film as one side of it only clings to itself and not other items so the first layer was reversed. We used 8 full rolls of it on the managers car years ago. It took him hours to hack through it to get it off. You couldn't even tell the colour of the car it was that thick. Mr. Green

That is a very dangerous thing to do.

just don't put it on the bike while it's still hot! Shocked

And be careful not to pull the bike over while you're doing it!

Shrink wrap would be better, it's harder to get off than clingy.
