I'm wondering whether to bother forking out for an Arrow system for my NSR 125.

Previous experience(Consists of 1 bike Razz ) proved to not worth it.

An unrestricted pipe VS Full aftermarket system

Really is there a difference, i know endcans will have different designed baffles ect for sound but is there really a change within the expansion chamber ect..

What do you think ? Smile

Is your NSR already derestricted? If you're just fitting an exhaust you won't notice much of a difference without removing the air box restrictor and up jetting.

My views arent based anything on the NSR as i havn't rode it yet.

It will be getting destricted in near future, im considering potential parts for the shopping basket.

Well an aftermarket exhaust is a viable alternative to drilling the restrictor out of the stock exhaust.

Indeed but is it an improvement on whats already there ?

I just have the view of it must be virtually the same but im a "nub" so hence me taking opinions from more experienced.

Yeah it'll be lighter and noisier. If it was me i'd buy another exhaust in case I ballsed up the OE one drilling it.

If you want to go faster, spend the money doing your test (presuming you haven't) and buy a faster bike.

Oh and to get full benefits from a full exhaust system, the bike should have the fueling adjusted to suit, ideally with a freerer flowing air-filter as needed.

Hi

On older 125s with the 12hp restriction, yes there was a major difference (most were restricted in the exhaust). Against a full power stock exhaust there will not be much difference. A bit yes, but a load of noise to go with it.

All the best
