Right... first we need to know who will be renting a minimoto there, so:

Hiring Minimotos
Ste
Hannah
Gav
Mark (MarJay)
Ben (Evilbob)
Goose
Korn
Alex (Phoenix)
mike (Pschohippy)
Tin
'Power of the R6' -r6messagenet
'Bennyb24' -r6messagenet
?Danny?
?Mikey?
?Scotty?
?Rob (Zimmerframe(bloody mods abusing their powers : roll : )/Speed triple)?
?Maurice?

Own Minimoto
G/Alex
'R Sitch' -r6messagenet

Not riding
Bendy
John
Ben's GF
Mark's GF
Tam (Mrs Hippy)
Rob's Mate

The standard fair is £25 for 3 10 minute sessions, but I may be able to negotiate a discount if we do a 'group booking'.

I was thinking we could maybe have a BBQ somewhere around there (it's almost right next to the Thames... so could be done by the river), in between rounds of minimto.

Going out in Town on Saturday Night
Ste
Hannah
Gav
Ben (Evilbob)
Goose
Danny
G
Alex
Luke
Ben's GF
Danny
Syfoon
Zimma
Phoe
Suzi
?Suzi's Friend?

What sorta places do people want to go to on Saturday night?
and does anyone know anywhere we can get some 'ID' for Cassy?

Can people confirm that they will be coming and doing as specified up ^there^ (ie hiring mm etc).

Is that for the day time, the night, or both Tin?

Was probably looking at going down there at midday-ish... so what sorta time can people get here for?

Thats about right for me and Hannah G, both hiring mm's and there for the night out.

What time of ID you after for cassy? how did she cope the other night?

As for what place we go I'm easy (insert your own joke), would prefer something cheesy not metal though (as I know big fish little fish cardboard box ain't your thing Laughing ).

Ok - believe John is coming but not riding mm.

Also believe that Korn's not going out, we're driving back in the brown machine Question

Kev will be at work until 1ish so we need to be down for the KR1S before that, so the garage is open. Guessing that means we (Korn & co.) need to be in Reading noon at the latest.

Now, to think of ways to make dv-cam minimoto crashproof Very Happy

Ponder.

I might be in London during the day. So I might not be minimoto-ing. Don't count me out just yet though Razz.

If I'm in London during the day, I'll probably end up getting a lift to Reading off of Zimma Razz.

And, I think a "big fish, little fish, cardboard box" place would be great... Razz.

<-- Hiring mini moto but not going out in the evening.

Do we need to book in advance or just turn up with cash?

Just turning up with cash should be fine, but I may need to do a 'collection' before hand to sort out the discount for us.

Is it alright If my girlfriend comes to spectate?
We won't be going out in the evening though I'm afraid.
I'm really looking forward to it now though...
Very Happy
If anyone needs a lift I expect I'll go by car.
I'll need to hire a MM though... just to confirm, I expect you've guessed though.

Myself and MrsHippy may well come along for the day, MrsH won't be riding, but I will if my wrist is OK (and probably if it's not). However I'm not likely to know for sure until the end of the week.

On the whole rain thing.... obviously this would be a bit of a problem if it does as it's an outdoor track.

The easiest option owuld be to try postponing it 'till Sunday, but I can see quite a few still being a 'little over the limit', even for controlling 4.2 hp machinary Smile

If we had enough people I could try asking if the track at hullavington would open on saturday for us... though this would have to be done in advance. The track is a lot better designed and indoors, but is a fair way down the motorway... Just a thought anyway.

Well where definitely coming even if its just for a drinking session - plus we'll be in the car so space for a couple if we do go further afield.

Hullavington could actaully be got to 'on the way' (kinda) for the midlanders... well.. it'd be easier to meet there.

TBH, I don't know if they can do it at all with this short notice, or if they'd want to for this number of people. I'll give them a call tomorow and see what they say though.

Obviously the night out in Reading would still be on presuming people are interested.

This may be a bit short notice, but a good place for future reference is https://www.fluxcard.co.uk (maybe .com), and https://www.photo-id.co.uk the latter being the better IMO, I bought some from there when I was 16, worked a treat up until about 2 months before I was 18, then they seemed to be getting wise about it, but I dunno what it's like in Reading. Took about a month to arrive though, and it says within 7 days or something. Thought it might be a good link for you to have though, might not be any use for this particular trip into Reading, but might be worthwhile for future reference if it's quite a while till she's 18.
