I have a PS2 game that has lots off small scratches in it , is there any "house hold" stuff that i can use to get them out ? or do i need to buy some proper stuff ?

yep I had a monster PS2 which started chewing all my disks.. toothpase worked for a 10minutes... then I binned the ps2..well packed it away..

Toothpaste has long lasting side effects if you use the wrong type, they work fine to start with but then degrade. Vaseline is good.
