I just bought a new phone and also bought a USB lead for it(separate). Problem is it's not working. I've installed the disc so that the pc will register it. The pc says I have a samsung USB modem connector and that it's working, only it doesn't. There's no options to put files on the phone or vice versa.
I even went on the samsung web site but found no joy there.
Anyone got any ideas?

What is on the disk exactly? I'd suspect that what you've installed eitehr doesn't work with your phone or you haven't installed everything.

Install teh software first, then connect the phone.

whats on your disc will be an old version of the software that was made when the phone actually came out.

your better off going to the manufacturers website down downloading the latest software

Samsung phones are a nightmare.

My Son had an E-350 and now has a D-500.

The software you need is Samsung PIM & File Manager II (you can DL it from the Samsung site for free if you don't have it).
Here... (the TOP one)... https://www.samsung.com/support/productsupport/download/Model_Select.aspx?type=Mobile+Phone&typecode=100100&subtype=Mobile+Phone&subtypecode=100101&model=SGH-E370&filetype=SW&language=

Once installed, open it up and chose "File Manger" from the "Tools" drop down menu.

Then use it like the old Windows File Manager. Thumbs Up

It's bloody slow though, takes ages (about 3 times longer than my Sony) to put an MP3 on the phone. My Sony Ericsson is "Drag and Drop" and is MUCH quicker, and easier.

use bluetooth? , my K800I has problems with my PCs or rather my PCs have probkems with my K800I (considering my PCs are all junk pre 2005 machines) , I now use blue tooth for everything,

a bluetooth dongle is like £5 down argos, and has perks as Stinkwheel says , you can send unsolicited 'business cards' to people as they walk past and spook them out.

Dangerous hobby, Symbian phones can hack into yours and make calls. People abuse this by setting up a premium number account and making a nice long call to it from your phone. I never turn my Bluetooth on now, just don't like it. Shocked
