im too nervous to try them on my sports 600, but i have been enjoying them on my 4 stroke 250 dirt bike on grass

im not holding it up for long and its a bit uncontrolled, but ideally id like to loft the front and hold it, bringing it down at will

ive read enough threads on here to know about revving, then dumping the clutch, the bit im not so good at is maintaiing control so its smooth

so for example sometimes the wheel doesnt come down straight, or if the front goes a bit high i wobble a bit sideways, not enough to come off, but just a bit out of control

i have heard about using the back brake to stop it going too high

i guess its just a matter of practise but any more tips would be appreciated

some day i would like to move to doing it on my sports 600 but only after im doing it flawlessly on the dirt bike

it doesnt matter if i drop the dirt bike

My Ninja's would come up off the throttle with a wee jerk of the throttle but was told this is a sure fire way of breaking stuff.

Clutch is a wee bit harder, my R6 doesn't come up off the throttle as easy and it seems to rev higher.

Trial and error I suppose but my wheelie practice days are over. Prefer to just ride the bike and enjoy.

Slightest twist of the throttle and the front wheel adjusts accordingly Wink

Allways keep the back brake covered, it may/will just save yer skin, and bike...

I'm very surprised at that, my R6 will see the front up easily in first just with the throttle, no clutch needed unless you want to.

Just take it up to like 12k revs, mid powerband, ease off, hammer on and the front will be flying up in no time. Smile

I must be doing something wrong or taking it quite easy with my crash record. Embarassed
