Well earlier on today, I was in my mums kitchen and I heard a load "thud". I went outside to discover a tiny little bird laying on the ground. Anyway I picked it up and it sat perched on my finger for a good 20 mins before it finally perked up and flew off.

My mums house is next to a river so theres alot of wild wife about. Their garden is currently being occupied by this:

As you can see its got seven eggs there that are going to hatch any day now apparently (will add more pics when they do).
Whilst she looks after the eggs, her partner goes up and down the river beating up the resident goose and starting on anyone in rowing boats and when hes not doing that hes banging at the kitchen window to be fed.

And whilst I'm at it I'll give you some other pics of my phone to have a look at.

They have a miniture railway aswell that gets opened on the weekends. This is the petrol driven one.

This is the steam one. Its recently had its boiler test and will be running most of time soon apparently.

Catch owls like that, they're more interesting animals and they leave amusing owl outlines on the window as their feathers are oily. Razz

Yes, that happened at my parents house once, although I think it was just a standard blackbird. It might have been the oil on the birds wings (i presumed just dust/dirt) but it left a perfect angel shape print with all the detail of the feathers showing on the spread wings. It was quite amazing in a spooky haunting kind of way.
Thinking about it, an aspiring artist could make some money out of this. I just need some glass panes, a dark room and some pigeons.

It is indeed. They found it in the garage in bits when they moved in.

It was in shock when it was perched on my finger. It kept sort of blinking, opening and closing its beak and shaking like it was having convulsions whilst balancing on my finger. I was ringing the rspb to ask what I should do with the thing and as the women answered the phone it looked up at me and flew off. She said that it happens often and if they dont fly off they usually die.

Each carriage can take 4-6 people. The petrol train can take 2 carriages and the steam train can take 3-4 carriages.

Petrol train: £1.50 per ride
Steam Train: £2 per ride

Very Happy Laughing
