I've talked to the people at minimto.co.uk (based at Hullavington) and they say that they can open up the track for us on Saturday.
We'd be looking at £25 for 3 10 minute sessions again and they want at least 15 people. Though hopefully some sessions could be swapped around, if some only want to do three while I'm sure others will want to do more
Hullavinton is here by the way:
We'd probably have to look at getting there for 12-1.
They do offer a 'race style' with a short practice followed by races then a 'final'... however this is £40 per person and doesn't seem so fair on the people that have never done it before.
I've checked and it shouldn't be a problem if we want to have a BBQ around there at some point as well.
Pros:
The track is a lot better track. Although it is quite slippery, it's pretty well laid out and has a nice variation in different corners and straights.
The way m4 minimoto had their track set up when we looked last week didn't seem to be that great, basically a square with a chicane on one side, and there's the white lines of the car park to worry about .
The track is inside!... hopefully it won't rain, but if it does it won't be a problem here.
The spectators area is better, with a large raised section which can be used for decent enough pictures/videos.
Cons:
The track is further away for quite a lot of people.
They will probably not want to stay open for ages or may have other commitments, while it's a standard 'day' at M4 minimoto.
We'll have to guarantee that we can get enough people.
For either track, they should have helmets and sliders there (think they have gloves as well) However it's advisable to bring your own jacket and a pair of oldish jeans that you don't mind getting a bit knackered. An old pair of trainers would be better than boots due to the position you got to get your legs in .
I'll be ringing them to confirm details tomorrow if we are going to do this, so I'll need to know people's thoughts soonish.
If it's a problem for anyone to get there at those times, or just to get there altogether, leave a message here and we'll see what we can do.

I don't mind really. But if it's Hullavington, I'm willing to make up the numbers and ride, but I won't bother at M4. ____________________ TiN

The track is seems to be better than whats on offer at hullavington, so it gets my vote
15 people should be managable, do they want any type of deposit? |

I'll go with Halluvingdon, imho it's worth the extra few miles.
Hopefully they might let us run the track in reverse aswell, a chance to get some more practice in at left handers ____________________ Gallery |

I have came to the unfortunate conclusion that it will be too much of a push to come
Apparently I need to be home on the saturday at 6pm for my 'birthday suprise' and because of my poor time keeping skills this would make it very awkward!
The next one you do I promise to come! |

I'm not riding, so not too bothered, but given the weather forecast for Saturday I think we should do Hullavington.
If Hex's bringing a car and I can drive the Blue Beast, Tin & the Hippies coming from that side of town anyway... I reckon it would work out alright.
Rob could come on 4 wheels as well, I believe he has a swanky car that he keeps very quiet about
Oh yeah, and if it's just us at Hullavington, we can probably clamber about with cameras a bit more \o/ |

It's not too far (been there a few times), but for the Londoners it's an extra 80 miles added to the trip there and back... ____________________ -Zimma |

As Bendy mentioned, there is a range of cars going from London/ Reading area, and a few bike as well. So those who think its too much petrol for thier Storm's can go in a car |
