I've got one of them Lexmark all in one printers (model X85) that has a scanner, photocopier and printer and (originally) fax capability.

For some reason (probably rage) ... I deleted the fax capability a while back, but now I am setting up my empire again, and I want to be able to fax from home again, so I went on the Lexmark site, but they don't have fax drivers to download.

Does anybody have any recommendations for good (i.e., simple to use) fax programmes which I can download, install and use.

Thank you.

My XP communications menu does not appear to have a fax console.
It has "hyperterminal"

Question

i wasnt aware it was a feature.

youll probably need to go to Add/Remove Programs and select Windows Components and add it from there then mate if its not in your communications list.

Hmmm, yes.

It is there in "Add Windows Components"

However, when I tried to instal it, it refers me to the XP2 installation disk ...

I may have to consult the chap who installed my current version of XP over my original (and very irritating) Vista.

I'm sure I have the disk he installed it with (somewhere round here)

*scuffles amongst many complicated-looking things*

... but I'm not entirely sure where it, erm, came from Confused

Better go and ask him.
