She looks like she ran into an industrial sized blender. Good luck on the rebuild!

Hi

Presume the head stock unbolts.

Got carried away with gunk and a tooth brush trying to clean it?

All the best

Keith

Blew the head gasket under bizarre circumstances last Sunday and the engine needs to come out of the frame to do the job. I worked out that splitting the frame at the rear of the oil tank and pulling the front end off would be easier.
Did the head and valves last night and took that picture this morning.
Fired her back up just over an hour ago, she went first kick. Very Happy

I live in a very close community in inner city Birmingham. There are at least 30 languages spoke in my road but all of them have a Brummie accent. People from outside ask me if I feel threatened by where I live, in fact it is the middle class mono-cultural areas of the suburbs that scare me Very Happy Karma

Is that Sparkhill by any chance?

I spent 10 years living in Aston (by the mosque) before I went posh and moved to Erdington Wink, then even posher and moved to Stafford Sad . I miss Brum loads and loads. Different kind of people in Stafford - ex-clayheads and ex-brummies but both are miserable and insular. Now I'm forced to get my Brum fix by watching episodes of Brum with my lad.

God I wish I could do things like that with a bike. I have no mechanical brain whatsoever.
