I was driving to work the other day, and this Jap bike went past - Think it may have been an R6, but can't be sure... it was like a gunmetal grey type colour.... wasn't silver, wasn't black - looked standard, but looked the nuts - anyone have any idea what bike it was?

(Contemplating getting another bike after a year out!)

No, was darker than that, closer to black than grey... though that does look good!

No definitely not that, it was all kinda gunmetal/charcoal'ish... I remember 100% it wasn't black - I don't think it was metallic either, but could be wrong!

Trying to find a bike by colour... sounds fucking retarded to me! What about headlight shape, exhaust type (underseat, single or double), was it curvy or edgy?

LOL! Needle in a haystack? lol! From what i remember, headlights were aggressive looking (like an R6), was a very edgy bike, not many curves at all.... but really cant remember where the exhaust was Sad

on a sidenote, i saw a bike the other day too, it was past me before i got a chance to look at it, it was black, and had only one headlamp, offset to the left hand side.

That's a suzuka fairing.
Prolly a VFR400/CBR400 with the Tyga Suzuka bodykit.
