My bike smells faintly of petrol when you get close to it. Is this acceptable or should I be worried?
Ma mum keeps pestering me about it saying it could be dangerous etc.
I kinda like its smell anyways... Wink

It was running rich for a while when I derestricted it and put a too high jet in.
Anyway spark plugs now a nice toasty brown Smile
When I was changing it for the right jet I did notice some shit on the outside and around the carb.

If you put petrol in it guess what it will smell like?
Check the fuel tap, pipes, carb and tank for signs of leakage.

Mine tends to on a full tank. When it's less than half full I don't notice it.
