I reckon it'd be alright. The engine would be that much more stressed sitting at 100mph compared to it's bigger brothers but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Along the same sort of lines as the dl650 and plenty of folk tour on those.
If it's the bike you're thinking about, you can also get funky accessories for the 'tank' area. The radio/cd/speaker unit idea always got my attraction. Quality idea that.
Of course, I haven't tried one yet. |

Any more details about the circumstances that you want to use it?
It'll do the job fine, but if you want a straightline mile muncher then something like a honda blackbird or vfr is far better.
Are you two up?
Is it motorway miles or scenic country twisty roads or is it over land?
A big factor is how comfortable on the bike you feel, does it suit your position and riding style and what you want from a bike?
The F650 is a good bike, and can certainly eat the miles. Its a good practical bike ____________________ Dave_ZedDragen - (2005)Z1000
