Out of curiosity, has anyone played any of these superbikes PS2 games? Im not even sure I have the time but when the obismal weather comes round I might be tempted. Are they any good?

[Or any other bike games - Im sure I saw a different one in Another World a couple of weeks ago.]

The only games ive got on PS2 are bike games,

SBK 07 came out on friday, top fun because the racing is close once you turn the rider aids off and put the difficulty up a tad.

TT superbikes has to be the best though, the full lap of the TT and very addictive, as you try and beat your quickest lap without crashing Very Happy

The MotoGP games are ok, really arcadey though, not very realistic

Riding spirits 2 and tourist trophy are both pretty good, riding spirits has about 400 bikes to choose from and modify, and tourist trophy is cool 'cos the graphics are stunning

heres my games, note not one RPG/Car game, anything, just bikes Very Happy

Thanks Jake, thats helpful Thumbs Up Very Happy

I usually play Silent Hill games and Parasite Eve, only bike game I have is XG3: Extreme G Racing! I'll propbably go for TT Superbikes as that sounds good. Tourist Trophy graphics look really nice but Id rather have more addictive gameplay.

Thanks!

the TT games is really really good but real hard to master. once you complete everything you can race on "mad sunday" thats hard too because of other cars (wgich look really crap imo)
another good bike game is riding spirits 2 (riding spirits 1 isnt as good) basically think gran turismo but on 2 wheels instead. you can upgrade all the parts on the bike and you can have pretty much any bike you want to buy thats on the road, really good fun.

On riding spirits 2 the sound is CRAP though. Everything sounds like a sewing machine or a fart, I don't understand how they even published it like that. Laughing

IMO the Blackbean developed games (Superbikes Riding challenge, and SUperbike 07) Have the worst physics ever.

RSII and TT have similar physics, RSII is a little slower to turn in, but i prefer TT because it looks better and sounds better, but the physics engine in TT gets confused when the rear slides ( as it's based on the GT4 car physics engine)

I haven't played IOMTT.

MotoGp series I don't like. Physics is waaaayy off.

If you have an XBox as well, look at the MotoGP series exclusive to XBox and PC. They are pretty dam good too!

Thumbs Up

Laughing ham

well since we are on about games, ive abandoned my ps2 now and use my pc for gaming. i recently got testdrive unlimited which features bikes and cars. uber graphics and gameplay and its online too. nothing like pulling a wheelie past a lambo with some dude from australia driving it cursing you as you bomb past him. it is great fun.......dont play drunk though because its far too hard lmao
oh and there is a lot of A.I traffic as well and the map is huge.

the bike screenies are at the bottom

I rented SBK 07 on friday when it came out - god its sooooo shit!!!

Handling is pure shit, graphics are not great, and the loading times are a joke!!!!

Moto GP 4 is probably the best genuine bike racing game, followed by tourist trophy.

Saw Tourist Trophy today in Game pre-owned for £14.99 and was tempted but decided to concentrate on my real riding for now! When did Tourist Trophy actually come out?

I had a feeling it was a bit older than I thought! Might get it at some point but sounds like there are better games.
