can you restrict 125s? my brother wants a bike when he turns 16 and there is a distinct lack of geared 50s available. Only really the yamaha fizzy. He doesn't want a scooter. Any ideas if 125s can be restricted to meet requirements for a 16 year old?

cheers

short answer - no, you have to be 17 to ride a 125, try fs1e, suzuki ZR50, Aprillia RS50, TZR50, MTX50 etc

nope, regardless of power output your limited to 50cc

anyway there are loads of 50 cc geared bikes, rs 50, tzr 50, derbi spomething or other (dont take much of an interest in 50 cc bikes)

if he's so keen, get him one of these! faster than a 50cc and you can ride them legally from the age of 3
