Yeah i was only 16 and my m8 got a Big trailie and i couldn't reach the floor.
we went into a big field and he held the bike while i got on it and away.
gears no problem i was soon bombing around, untill.
a hedge sneaked up on me so i stopped, seemed to stay upright for ages then in slow motion the bike fell to the side and then on top of me.
didn't really hurt but my m8 pissed his sides down for weeks.

Ah them were the days! Remember me hilarious Honda 50 monkey bike i had when i was 12. But my TY175 yam was the first proper bike i rode. I got a full trials suit for my birthday when i was 13, and i thought i was the kid! for a while, until i decided that falling off wasnt so much fun, and there were several of kids about 10-11 that were beating me in every event, so i kinda gave up with Trials riding! What made me decide to take my test tho was hiring a DT125 on holiday in Greece, what a gas!

First bike I ever rode was an RD250LC, ttok me about half an hour to kick start the damn thing - cos my boyfriend (whose it was at the time) wouldn't help me...

I got it about 4 yards down the garden, stalled it and dropped it (couldn't reach the floor). Fantastic. Swore I'd never ride a bike after that....Now look at me!!!

It was my 6th birthday and my dad got me a knackered little 50cc kids bike- I remember how much I was shitting myself in the back of the van on the way to some public fields to have a go. I think my Dad was having more fun than me at that point, but I liked it eventually. When we got rid of that I never rode one again until years later.
