JUST GOT MA BIKE BACK AND THE FAN SEEMS TO STAY ON AND A HAD WEE LOOK AT IT THE WIRES JUST GO STRAIT TO THE FAN BUT THERES OTHER TWO WIRES TO A PLUG.
SO DOSE ANY KNOW IF A JUST PLUG THE LIVE IN TO TWO THIS PLUG AS IT ONLY HAS TWO WIRES IN TO THIS PLUG ONE IN AND ONE OUT A TAKE. Cool

A tip , speak in PROPER English or you will get SUCH a slating.

And the "stuck on fan" , the thermostat has more than lightly gone wrong.

sorry guys its a gsxf400 thats a suzuki as i said the fan seems to stays or stuck on and theres a a plug thats not pluged in to anything

Or the temp sensor for the fan.

I presume it's coming on as soon as you switch the ignition on and staying on? Even if the engine isn't running and is stone cold?

If so it's either the fan switch in the radiator that's gone tits-up or there is a short circuit to earth somewhere between the fan and the switch (on the assumption that your bike has the 'usual' setup with the fan being on the live side of the switch and the switch allowing the current to earth).

To check which, simply disconnect the connector on the fan switch. If the fan still comes on you have a short. If it doesn't come on, it's the switch.

yeah just had another look at the bike and the wires just go to the fan and misses the thermostat out so am just going to plug the live in to it and how it gos from there Thumbs Up

It's probably like that because the thermostat switch is knackered.
