Okay, im going to revamp my front end with bearings ect, and im doing my seals too, in corners my front end feels verry solid, and feels like there isnt much movement, im just wondering what sort of settings my damping, rebound and preloud shoud be set at for a 12-13 stone rider.
Also i have 10 grade oil in there, would a lower/higher oil help matters.
basicly it feels like its ready to bounce of the tarmac. ____________________ Current : 06 Zx10r, 07 Wr450f SM, 74 850 norton commando, 63 bsa b40, 1962 Triton 650, 67 Triumph Tr6r, 1955 Triton 750, 1978 TY250E. |

if its got adjustable preload on the front then i'd back it off. If I screw the preload right in on my yzf750 the front feels like a jackhammer when i'm braking and tipping into a corner.
if you look around on Yamaha motor you may be able to see the owners manual and find the standard settings.
You could start with them then just experiment with one setting at a time. |
