hi guys

what are your thoughts on this?im a confident rider have been on the road 9 months,ride 5 miles to work and back and ride for fun at every opitunity!!the school near me reccomended a four day coarse!1st day is cbt which i already done!!are they just getting the most money they can??

It depends how much you know about the test and what is expected of you. You can be the best rider in the world but miss out a few lifesavers and you will fail. People have passed without any lessons, its not impossible you just need to practice 'test riding'.

virus did it without lessons maybe you should PM him to see what was expected of him etc.

But i know you need to drive safetly and show your in control of the bike. You need to do life savers and get some books to help you if you wish to learn without lessons.

I remember my direct access instructor referred heavily to the DSA books, Essential Riding and a certain amount to Roadcraft
