Its the switch, the spring pulls on a rod, the rod makes the contact inside the switch.
Push the rod back inside and the light will go off.
Then buy a new switch, they are under £5.

On the other end of the spring is where you will find the switch.
Universal switch will do, can get them from any bike shop.

You could always try to fix it, take it out and clean it up (the rod) with a bit of WD40.
If it goes in and out it might just work, if it dont its the electrical connections inside, in which case you will need a new one.
Could save you a tenner. Thumbs Up

i went to fast into a corner and came off. messed up the right hand side of the bike. when the red dragon guy was dropping off the bike at the garage he dropped it on the left hand side : ) it took so long to get some part that my next service came up as well. it all adds up i guess.

Shit man, that aint good.
The guy that dropped it on the left hand side should pay for the damage he did, no way should you have to pay for all the damage done!

the guy tried to say the bike was allready like that, but the 3 guys in the garage saw him drop it so he coughed up £137.

the thing that pisses me off is that these people had my bike for over a month and after "fixing" it and "servicing" it, the idiots miss something as basic as the brake light being constantly on.
